I'm not the guy who lived in the city but I think I have a few ideas in my mind about what happen in the city. The busy atmosphere, air pollution, traffic and population density and also stressful. From these creepy words I tried to describe how women should dress in my point of view. These sketches inspired by busy career women in the city whom fight for their elegance and comfortably.
These collection consist by very simple silhouette, bright cheerful colors and cohesive printing as the trimming. These collection were designed as ready to wear collection to bring the new positive energy into stressful condition in the busy city life. I hope with these sketches I could practice my intuition about what to do to make collection in the collage later on.
Enjoy the show!

Me in Bukit Lawang's Best Place
I'm so proud growing up in my village Bukit Lawang, the place which
home of Sumatran Orangutan and the place where you can see many people
from overseas and also the place where you can get vocation every time
you want. My favorite things to do is swimming. Yeah, we have very clean
river water and some spot just like a water pool. so you can swimming

lots of activity you can do here start from Jungle tracking, caving,
rafting and many more. and also you can find many friendly people here.

Unfortunately when i last visited the Orangutan feeding station, I found no Orangutan who came out. maybe it;s not my lucky day. Maybe next time i should come back and take some Orangutan photos. That's all what i can show now, actually there are still many interesting place we could visit here in Bukit Lawang. :)

Story About Me

Hello, let me introduce myself. My name is Rahgutama Agata. But mostly people call me TAMA. Although sometimes I prefer to be called as Rahgu. But it was fine for me. I'm 19 years old, I live in the village called ”Bukit Lawang” in North Sumatera, Indonesia. Which is the potential tourism place in Indonesia as a home for Sumateran Orangutan Conservation.
I'm the boy with BIG passion and dream in the fashion industry as a fashion designer. I've started drawing since i was 4 years old and in the primary school I realized that I really want to become fashion designer. Life goes so happy and cheerful for me and family till we got the massive disaster ''flash flood'' in November 3rd, 2003. And it changed everything. We lost all the things we have. But gratefully we don't lose any family member.

| The photo taken by Aunt Pamela in 2006 |
In 2006 my Uncle met lovely Aussie Lady who working in Fashion industry named Pamela Joy Fuge. Then my Uncle introduced me to her and asked her if she could manufacture my design (sketches) to make money to send me to fashion collage. But Aunt Pamela told my Uncle it was too difficult and asked my Uncle to contact her again when I have completed my school. And in that time, I'm still a little boy who shy and can't understand English, So Aunt Pamela purchased me some lovely books about fashion in Indonesian. After that we don't have any contact anymore while waiting me to complete my school.
| The books that Aunt Pamela gave me in 2006 |
At the beginning of my high school, everything seemed to be very hard financially for my family to pay my school. And I feel so sad if I remember about it. But that time I've started to know how to use Internet. Such like Facebook, Email etc. Then I found Aunt Pamela by suggested friend from Jenie who also know Aunt Pamela. And the most amazing she keep supporting my dream till now. Then she pay all my school fees, teaching me new skill about Silk Flower and share ideas. Till now she's ready to send me to Fashion Collage this years, the things that I really wanted since along, long and long time ago.
I'm so grateful to be myself, besides I had someone totally support me mentally and materially. I also had a big family support me for what I want to do and I want to be.
